Great tips on using AdSense but i just wanted to ask…
Do you think AdSense is the best way to go? I mean in my blog should i use only Adsense or maybe i could offer some space for paid links and some for affiliate marketing (link exchange). Is there an optimal portion for using these 3 ways of optimizing your blog?
Please any input would be more than appreciated!

Agree with you, to earn extra money from the site, even I think there is no other easy option than Google AdSense. It allows to you to select the ads according to your sites structure. I have used it for my site and found very profitable. It really helps you to gain those extra pennies from your site. And one don’t have to take much efforts for gaining this. But one should surely know the right way to use it. You have posted great tips for this! You have rightly posted if one using AdSense one should consider size and position of the ads properly on the site because it is important for making readers attracted to it but at the same time they should not be distracted by it.

there were a number of steps you had to perform (on google, not web answers) in order to activate your google adsense. Did you send them the tax info? Did you complete the address check? If you go on your google acccount (not webanswers) there are a number of steps they ask you to take to verify things. If you haven’t already completed the steps that could be why.
