Lately i have been getting a lot of mails from twitter about several people following the website. The volume goes to 6 to 7 followers each day.
But when i check the twitter account the total number of twitter followers are always the same or lesser than before.
It looks like these are automated software or bots that follow random people with a hope that they will get a follower in return.
Don’t follow your follower unless you really want to.
Many a times people will tend to follow their followers in return. But that is what these automated software are all about.
They are going to unfollow you anyways, all they care about is to get a follower in return. If you fall for them and follow them, the changes are you will be following a lot of people but no one is following you.
You don’t have to follow everyone that follows you. Make sure you know the person or the business that twitter account is for.

If you search on internet for Twitter follow bots, you will find hundreds of such online services. All you need to do is sign up with them and include your account and it does all the dirty work of getting you followers.
Some automated scripts are even smarter.
What they will do is, track all the analyzed data and statistics and follow random or relevant people unless a set number of those follow your account back.
The number can go in thousands. You can set this number and it can even be 5000. So unless 5000 of the people you will follow, follows you back. The script won’t stop following people on twitter.
The script will automatically unfollow all those people it followed before.
Good news is that the Twitter as a company is trying its best to avoid such spam and automated scripts. It has set a limit for the number of people you can follow and has its own methodology to track such cases. If you do that manually, you will get a error message on top that will direct you to their rules and other terms of usage.
